Select Check Recurring Availability and Petboost lists every visit and marks the ones that clash before it books anything. See day opens a clashing visit so you can pick another free time, and Let visits move by up to sets how many days, from 0 to 14, Petboost looks either side. Set your default in Booking Settings under Advanced options.
On an assessment visit, select Passed or Not yet for each pet under Assessment result. Passed unlocks the services that need it, Not yet keeps them locked, and the result shows on the report card in words you can change. Saving a result sends no message.
Turn on Block All Day on any blocked time form, from a quick slot to team leave, resources and bulk blocks, and the whole day is blocked with no times to enter.
A burst of photo uploads sits in one row with thumbnails, check-in and check-out show on a map, each payment says how it was made, and each kind of event keeps one colour. Moving a booking to another resource or team member names both.
Choose what your calendar opens on: Stay on date keeps the date you were on, and Go back to Today opens on today, including a tab left open overnight. Appointments, Mission Control and the Roster share the one setting.
On a phone, Trips has a Today button beside the date arrows. Marks sit on today's run and other days show the plan, and on a day with more than one driver Up next asks Whose run? first.
With online booking on, Booking Settings and your setup checklist tell you how many services pet owners cannot book yet. Open the list, tick the ones you want and switch them on in one go. The account health check carries the same finding, with a button that takes you straight there.
Add a mobile extra to a booking, such as a pet bus on a daycare day, and the booking joins the run in Trips and the log book. The stop takes its times from the drop-off and pick-up windows, and the owner gets the on-our-way text.
Select Everyone on Choose Who ticks every team member and resource in one go. With the whole team ticked and no resources, No resources ticked shows on Choose Who and Review, with Add all resources beside it.
Create an appointment or a stay from a pet's profile and the form opens with that pet and owner already chosen.
Select Close for a day on Public Holidays, pick one date or a range of up to a month, and Petboost marks you closed on your showcase page, adds leave for every team member and blocks every resource on those dates. Bookings already on those days are listed so you can open each one and decide what to do with it. Days you have closed sit under Days you are closed, each with Reopen.
When a customer books several dates in one go, they can choose Different service on this day for any extra date, then Check this day to see its times. The review shows each date with its own service, price, deposit and package credits.
When the days on screen have nothing pending, the calendar's status row shows how many booking requests are waiting from today on and the date of the next one. Tap it to jump to that day with the Pending tab open, ready to approve.
On a Collect & Return run, turn on Swap groups between walks and Magic Optimise plans one walk's drop-offs and the next walk's pick-ups as one drive between the two parks. Both legs share one set of stop numbers, Up next works the doors in that order, and on the drop-off leg Finish back at base and Use the pick-up park are one tap each.
Turn on Hide prices until review under Price visibility in Pricing & Payments and customers see your services without prices on your booking page and in the booking form, with the full price on the review step before they book. Hide one service's price only from that service's Pricing & Payments tab. To have customers sign up or sign in before they see your services, packages, courses and memberships, turn on Require an account before showing services in Booking Settings.
The calendar's view panel sorts its options into View, Show on the calendar, How it looks and When you drag. A blue dot on the view button means something is hiding bookings, such as a status tab or hidden weekend days.
Drag a recurring visit on the calendar and This Appointment Only is the main choice, with This and All Future beside it.
Switch the calendar to Timeline while a stay covers today and it opens on the week, so the whole stay is on screen. On other days it opens on the day.
While you build an appointment or a stay, each service row shows a quiet count such as 2 pets at same time, Already booked with this team member or Already booked in this resource. Select it to see which pets and bookings share that time, without leaving the form.
In Card content with details shown as Text, select Label beside a detail such as Add-ons, Package, Membership or Vaccination to show it as a labelled badge under the photo instead of an icon. A booking with more than one service names every service on its card.
When a client picks an add-on that adds time, your booking form offers only the times where the extra minutes fit after the main service, counting the room and the team member. When no time on the day fits, it says so and offers to book without the add-on.
Choose Active on the Team Members, Resources, Services or Service Categories picker on the calendar, and the columns follow the period on screen: move to another day or week and the calendar picks the ones active in it. Tick a column by hand and the picker switches to Custom.
Select Simulate a Booking from the Customers & Pets menu and choose the pet, and the booking simulation opens on their profile, so you see your booking page as that customer does. Nothing is booked.
Update existing bookings from a service's Times customers see card, and each booking whose only change is its window logs Times customers see updated in its activity log.
Select Simulate a new client on the booking flow preview, or on the setup checklist during your trial, and your booking page opens in a new tab as a brand-new client sees it, from sign-up to the forms they must fill before booking. Nothing is saved, sent or tracked, any phone number works, and the texts they would get pop up on screen.
While you drop off one group, Up next in Trips suggests collecting a dog from your next walk who lives close to the drop-off you are heading to. Choose to collect them next and the dog's owner hears you are on the way when you mark that drop-off. Nobody's booking changes, and any dog from a later group can be picked with Collect Next, On the Way.
Book the grooms, walks and training sessions that happen during a stay as appointments linked to it, planned day by day from the stay form. Owners book them too, from Book during this stay in the Pet Owner App.
Owners booking a stay see a month calendar with the price under each day, nightly or by the day as the stay is charged, and Full on days with no room.
When every team member and resource is blocked out on a day, select Show as Closed to mark those dates closed on your booking page.
Show declined bookings on the calendar when you want them, and hide them when you do not.
Why No Availability? tells you, in plain words, when your booking notice is what hides the times a client asked about.
Your clients see Full on any day your capacity is used up, and tapping it tells them the day is fully booked.
Assign a team member or resource who is not set up for the service, whose session list leaves it out, or a pet outside the weight, age or trait rules on their session, and the booking form says why in one line under the service. Link service or Add to sessions opens the page that fixes it in a new tab.
Create a booking for a date that has passed and Petboost first lists what pressing Create will do: whether a deposit is charged, which messages go to the customer and which automations run. Confirm with Create Past Appointment or Create Past Stay.
Bookings keep the price they were booked at when you change a date rate. In the Holiday & weekend rates card, Re-price these applies your current holiday, weekday and peak-date rates to those bookings when you want it.
Turn on Email the customer: deposit and part payment receipts under Payment Events in Notifications, inside Advanced options, and your client gets an emailed receipt each time they pay a deposit or part of a booking while a balance is still owing. It starts off, so nothing changes until you choose it. The booking activity log shows each deposit as Deposit paid.
Open a customer's Wallet tab, then Membership Plans, and Past periods lists each period that has ended, newest first, with what every benefit used and what went unused, such as Doggy Daycare: 4 of 4 used. When a member asks where their visits went, the answer is on the tab, period by period.
Issue Refund hands a card deposit back on a booking that is still open, such as when a client would rather pay in person. The booking keeps its status and the refunded amount goes back on the balance due.
Tick Skip for this customer, then choose Yes to keep that booking Pending until the deposit is paid, or No to book it with no deposit and no hold. Nothing is charged now either way.
Take payment on a booking days before the visit and Petboost explains that paying in full marks it Paid, locks its date and services, and stops the next reminder, which it names. Then pick how to go ahead: charge at check-in with Pay on Arrival, take part now to keep the booking open, or take the full amount now.
On a customer's Booking Settings tab, each payment setting offers Set for this customer or Use each service's setting, with a list of the services that differ.
Sell a small priced bundle on top of a membership, such as a Saturday group walk once a week, without a second membership. Build it in the plan builder by choosing An extra members add to their membership under What are you creating?, then add it from the customer's Wallet tab under Membership Plans with Add an extra. It bills as a second line on the same subscription, covers the membership's pets, and pauses or ends with the membership. Members see the extra on their membership in the Pet Owner App.
Each card payment in a customer's Wallet activity shows On their statement with the words their bank statement will show, and names what it paid for, such as a package, a membership or a sale. Pet owners see the same in their wallet.
The receipt PDF and email list each payment on a booking in date order, the deposit, split payments, Pay on Arrival and refunds, with the card, wallet or method that paid each one, the total paid and what is still to pay. Pet owners see the same list on their booking and can download a receipt for what they have paid so far.
Tick Skip for this customer under Choose how to take on the booking form, and nothing is charged for a deposit on that one appointment or stay. Choose No to book it with no Pending hold, or Yes to keep it Pending until the deposit is paid. The full price stays on the invoice, and the service still asks for a deposit next time.
When a customer with no card on file still owes money on a salon or facility booking, turn on Include payment link and the ready-for-pick-up text carries the link, so they get one text instead of two.
Switch a line's discount between % off and $ off on the appointment invoice and on a new sale. $ takes exact dollars off the whole line, and the printed invoice shows the discount as you set it, such as 15% or $10.00.
Set a plan's Length to Fixed term, then it ends, choose the number of payments, and each membership stops billing after the last one. The plan card, the terms and checkout show how many payments it runs for and the end date, the member is emailed before the last payment, and a finished term reads Completed in reporting. It suits a programme with a set length, such as a puppy course or a rehab block.
On a booking with Pay on Arrival, choose Check in, pay at the end to check the pet in and leave that amount on the bill for the end of the visit. It sits beside the usual check-in on the booking and in Mission Control.
A payment link you send opens a checkout page with your business name, logo and button colour, or Petboost's where you have none. A link already paid says Already paid, one you replaced or cancelled says This payment link has closed, and if the page cannot load your client sees This payment page did not open and can try again.
Connect Stripe during setup and the business details Petboost already holds are filled in for you, and a new Stripe account pays out every day. When your payouts run on another schedule, the payouts page in Settings says so under Get paid every day, with Change in Stripe.
Show a payment link as a QR code on your screen for the customer to scan, and the panel marks it paid the moment they pay.
Set your cancellation fee as a fixed dollar amount per booking, or as a percentage, for the whole business or for each service.
Text card update appears on an expiring card when a booking or membership will be charged after it expires.
When you take payment for an appointment from a customer with no email on file, Petboost asks for one so their receipt can be emailed. Skip it if they would rather not.
When a package credit covers only part of a visit, checking it out from Mission Control says Balance still to take and points you to Edit pricing & items to collect the rest.
Set a deposit, Pre-pay in Full or Pay on Arrival for one customer on their Settings & Overrides tab, and it applies ahead of the service and business setting.
When your team books a visit with a deposit due, your client is asked to pay it from their saved card as soon as they open the Pet Owner App.
Set your public holiday, weekend and date-range rates in one Holiday & weekend rates card under Pricing & Payments.
On a saved booking, Edit prices on the booking form opens its invoice lines, so a price you change saves to the bill the customer pays. Save or undo your other changes first.
Text a quick sale's payment link to your client again, straight from the transaction ledger.
With Pay on Arrival on the booking, take the full payment at drop-off on a visit with more than 30 minutes still to run and the pet stays checked in: the receipt goes with the payment and check-out settles the booking. Every check-in button names the amount it takes, and a Pay on Arrival card payment the card issuer has not confirmed shows Pay on Arrival not confirmed on the booking and in Attention Required.
Turn on Afterpay and Zip under Pricing & Payments, switch them on in Stripe, and your clients can pay a payment link in instalments.
Let clients pay a Pre-pay in Full deposit with a card they choose not to keep on file. For a package sold online, switch on Let clients pay online without saving a card on that package. Save this card for future bookings stays there for clients who want it.
A member brought across from your previous system keeps their benefits while they add a card, and their membership says until when and when the first charge is. Once a card is on file, select Activate membership to start them, or it activates on its own when the grace period ends.
Add a Description benefit to a membership plan for perks like priority booking or a birthday treat. It appears on the plan and the member's card without changing a price or setting a limit. Choose Description when you select Add benefit.
One date range can charge different amounts to different services, such as boarding and homestay over the same school holidays. In the Holiday & weekend rates card, open Peak dates, choose Only some services, then select Different amount for other services and pick the services for each amount. A service on no rate keeps its usual price.
Take an appointment invoice, a quick sale or a package purchase in parts. Select Split this payment, enter the Amount to pay now, and take the rest later by card, cash or bank transfer, or from a second person. Each part shows under Paid so far with the Balance due, and Remove payment takes one off. Package credits are added once the purchase is paid in full.
Each step an email or text takes now sits on the booking's activity log at the time it happened: green when it reaches their inbox, blue when they open it or click a link, amber when it is held back and red when it bounces or is marked as spam. Opens show the email app and device where the provider reports it, such as Gmail, Apple Mail or Outlook on an iPhone, Android or Windows.
Your copy of an online booking email says which online booking of the month it is and the value booked online so far that month.
The bell at the top of Petboost lists what needs you as it happens, such as booking requests, new messages and declined payments. Anything that needs someone stays under Needs attention until it is dealt with. Each team member picks what reaches them on My notifications and can turn on Push to this device, and owners and admins can set it for a team member on their Notifications tab.
Text you: new booking alert and the customer note alerts in Notifications show how many services use their own setting, and you can set them all at once.
Voicemails in Calls and in a conversation play in a waveform player you can scrub through. Tap Magic enhance and Petboost tunes the playback to that recording, cutting rumble, lifting the voice and evening out the level, so a message left from a windy car park is easier to hear. The recording itself stays as it was left.
Pick a contact on the Calls tab and the panel you see beside a Messages thread opens next to their calls: their pets, the owner details, action items and upcoming bookings. You know who rang and what they have booked before you call back.
Push notifications now open the part of Petboost that answers them: a text opens the thread with the reply box ready, a declined card opens the booking at its payment, a cancellation opens that day on the calendar, and a failed membership payment opens the member. Each notification leads with the pet, shows when it happened, and names its location for a business with more than one, opening that location when tapped. A declined card says how much is still owing, and customer reschedules now send a push too.
When texts to a customer's mobile stop being delivered, their profile shows a red Texts not arriving badge so you can check the number with them. The badge clears once a text gets through.
Each kind of notification has its own sound and colour, so a new booking, a customer message and a failed payment are easy to tell apart before you look, and a new one flies into the bell as it arrives. Sound stays off until you switch it on in My notifications, and a tab you are not looking at stays quiet.
Archive a conversation in Messages and an Undo button appears straight away. An archived conversation opened from a link or the customer profile says it is archived and offers Unarchive.
Start a new message on Messages to a customer who has a second phone and choose who it goes to: the main mobile, or the second number under its label, such as 2nd pet parent. Customer search finds a customer by their second number too.
Choose Booked on a day in Bulk Send and message everyone booked for today, tomorrow or a range of days, such as a closure notice or a heatwave reminder. Stays that cover the day are included, and cancelled bookings and no-shows are left out.
Activate Call Catcher under Settings, SMS, and calls to your Petboost number ring your own phone. Before you answer you hear who is calling, such as a client's name and their first pet, and the caller only ever sees your Petboost number. A call nobody takes, or one outside your opening hours, hears your greeting: press 1 for a text with your booking link, or 2 to leave a voicemail.
Switch on Only send on a customer's first appointment under Custom Messages, and your pre-appointment message goes out with the confirmation and reminder for a customer's first booking with you and is left off every booking after it.
Switch on Say how many minutes away under Your van and stops, and the on our way text ends with a line such as About 10 minutes away. The minutes are the drive to the dog you are heading to, with live traffic.
Switch on Ask who to text at each pick-up and drop-off under Your van and stops, and marking a stop asks whether to text the main mobile, the second phone, both, or nobody when the customer is home and saw you. On our way can go to both phones too, and texts to a second phone sit outside the main mobile's five a day.
Filter a bulk text by pet birthday month to send a birthday offer to the right owners.
See what happened to each email and text sent about an appointment: delivered, opened, link clicked, bounced or marked as spam, on that appointment's activity log. A customer whose email address or mobile is failing gets a badge on their profile.
Add bulk text filters one at a time, and each choice shows how many customers it would reach. A customer has to match every filter, and when nobody does, each filter shows how many it keeps on its own.
Settings, Notifications lists each message under the switch that sends it, and every row says who receives it: To you, To your customer or To your team.
With Call Catcher on, Messages becomes Messages & Calls. Switch to Calls for the call log down the side, with voicemails, and a keypad that calls out from your Petboost number, ringing your own phone first. Set when calls ring through under Call Opening Hours.
Select your business number in the header for New SMS, New Bulk Send or Messages, and with Call Catcher on, New Call and Call Opening Hours. A dot beside the number shows whether calling is online.
A client with several bookings next week gets one Friday email that lists them all.
Send one bulk text to every client with an upcoming booking who has not agreed to your terms or waiver, with their agreement link included.
Switch on Photo messages under Settings, SMS, and attach up to 10 photos or PDFs to one text from Messages, with the photos your clients send you showing in the conversation. Photo messages need your dedicated Petboost number, and each photo or PDF uses the SMS credits shown beside the switch before you turn it on.
Pick the Card style in Available Times Studio for a white panel on your brand colour, with your photo, a headline, the date and your open times as pills. Drag the preview to reposition the photo.
On your phone, Share post offers Save to camera roll or Post to Instagram. Use Zoom to fit the whole pet, drag the photo to frame it, and reorder photos for the grid.
Pick one or more team members from the All team menu on Messages and the list shows only conversations where they typed a reply. Team members who have left still appear, so you can find an old conversation by who handled it. It works alongside Hide automated, and Clear filter shows everyone again.
The appointment's Quick Actions carry Rounds & reports, which jumps straight to that visit's tasks and team forms.
Open the menu on a task you added by hand and select Edit, on Rounds, the booking card, the quick menu or the calendar drawer. It keeps its pet, first day and assignee.
Under History, turn on Include history when you print the run sheet and each booking card lists the pet's earlier appointment notes, timeline entries or both, newest first, internal notes included. Choose how many to show per pet, from one to eight. Your choice is saved on the device with your layout.
On Rounds & Tasks you tick a task off with its round circle. The square boxes for changing several tasks at once appear after you select Bulk edit, on desktop, tablet or phone.
Recurring bookings on the Mission Control run sheet carry a badge beside the service with how often the series repeats, such as Weekly or Ev. 2 weeks.
Rounds & Tasks sits in every business's menu, under Operations until you start using it, so a daycare or salon can run its opening and closing checklists as tasks for the business.
Download the run sheet PDF or CSV from the calendar's View menu, on desktop and in the phone's View drawer, or from Mission Control's Day and Week menus.
Mission Control's date picker shows the weekday with the date, on desktop and on your phone, so you can tell which day you are planning at a glance.
On a stay, select When beside an extra, tick the days it is delivered, each at a round, a time or Any time, then Schedule. The line reads such as 3 visits, Breakfast, and on each day the extra is a task on Rounds & Tasks marked as a paid extra. A stay opens on Overview, with Rounds & reports for yesterday, today and tomorrow and a tab for every day, and the Stay rounds view on Mission Control shows one card per stay in, with that day's rounds to tick.
A booking's tasks show as a checklist badge with how many are done on its calendar card, its Mission Control card and the Me run sheet: grey while open, green when all are done, amber when one is overdue. The hover card lists the first three, the Mission Control quick menu ticks them, and the booking's Tasks card lists every task by day. Tick a task with one tap on the pet's photo.
Add a task for the business itself, such as Clean the cattery, with Add task on Rounds & Tasks. Repeat it every day, every few days, a few days after it is last done or every few hours from a first time, with an optional Until date. A business task shows on the calendar at its time and never takes a slot.
Set your rounds, feeding alerts and the stay summary under Settings, Rounds, and your task rules and which extras become tasks under Settings, Tasks. An extra becomes a task only once you choose how it is Delivered as, such as Once per day or Times a day.
See every pet in house at each round of the day, with the team form to fill for each one and the day's tasks beside them, on a tablet or phone. Set your rounds once, such as Breakfast and Dinner, turn the extras on a stay into tasks your team can claim, and print the pen sheet. Pets not eating and doses missed show in Attention Required on Mission Control.
Checking a pet in from its booking shows its quick notes and the booking's internal notes, closed under Internal notes, so your team has them at the hand-over.
Searching Mission Control narrows the stay columns too, and highlights the matching pet and owner names on each card.
Check a pet in on a day other than the one it is booked for and Petboost asks Check in early? with when it is scheduled. Check in now starts the appointment, and you can undo it until you check out.
Print Day Run Sheet opens a dialog where you pick the layout, whether to include a cover, and which details print on each card. Choose One card per page or Compressed, then tick what your team needs, from pet photos and owner phone to grooming preferences and the last visit. The same choices set what the daily run sheet email and PDF include, and you can print it for chosen team members, resources, services or categories.
Hide prices on a shared front-desk screen, and sort the Pending confirmation list by Booked Earliest or Booked Latest.
Check in a walk-in from Mission Control in one flow. Pick the customer and pet, or create them on the spot, and they are booked in for right now.
Upload the whole day's photos at once from Bulk Photos in Mission Control, tag the pets in each one, and every photo is saved onto the right appointment.
Tap a pet's name on a Mission Control card to open its profile.
Record what a pet arrives with on a stay, daycare or boarding booking with Add belongings, from the calendar's right-click menu, the quick menu or Mission Control. Tick leads, bedding, food or medication, add your own items, and note a bin or hook number. Belongings save on the visit, apart from check-in, and Confirm Check-out lists them to return.
Choose One card per page when you print the run sheet, and each booking prints on its own page, in type you can read from a few metres away.
Select Preview as Pet Owner from the Manage menu on an appointment and your client's own booking page opens read-only, showing what they see when they log in, so you know exactly what they are looking at before you reply. One click texts them a quick login link to that booking.
Swipe through every report card theme in Settings, Card Themes, each one on a phone preview with its own clay icon. On a visit's Notes & Attachments, the Smart suggestions tiles show as soon as you open it, View all opens the same browser full screen, and Play the card shows a theme on that visit before you pick it. A Weather filter collects the weather themes, and with card themes off in Settings a pick themes only that one card.
On Pets & Services in the booking form, each pet is a tile with a round marker that pulses until one is picked, and a Book both or Book all button beside the tiles puts every pet on the same service in one tap.
Write the line under your business name on your booking page hero in Section wording. Leave it blank and Petboost builds it from your service categories and suburb. Search engines read this line as part of your page heading, so naming your services and suburb helps people find you.
A greyed Complete Booking on the booking form shows the first thing still missing, and a tap takes the pet owner straight to it.
Open Settings, Card Themes and choose Auto, or Auto with my house style, and each report card wears a look made for the visit: a birthday, a first sleepover, Christmas or the season, over a background for where the visit happened, such as the grooming studio or the daycare yard. Petboost picks it from the visit date, the service and the pet. Choose which holidays, pet milestones, seasons and fun pet days get a theme, pin a theme to a campaign's dates under Campaign pins, and set your own colours and fonts with a live preview. The notes and photos stay the same, and an incident report is always plain. To give one visit a particular look, tap a Smart suggestion on the visit's Notes & Attachments, or View all to browse every theme.
When a client who has been to you before makes a new booking, its confirmation in the Pet Owner App asks them to review you on Google, and copies a suggested review for them to paste and edit. A first-time client sees the same ask after their first paid visit.
When a stay is checked out, the client's booking carries one summary of it: the team form answers they can see, day by day, the photos, the weight on arrival and on the day they go home, and the extras delivered. It never shows a price. Switch it off under Stay summary in Settings, Rounds.
A member's plan in the Pet Owner App says which days their week runs, and that unused visits do not carry over.
Your clients choose what a new venue sees about their pet and download it as a PDF passport from the Pet Owner App, with their vaccination certificates attached.
Choose Email, SMS or Do silently when you publish visit notes, and Petboost remembers your choice on that device for next time.
Tag visit photos as grooming, play, rest and more, and the owner's report card groups them into a section per tag.
Your clients open Tools & Guides in the Pet Owner App and use the pet calculators there, such as a dog's age in human years, where a puppy sits against its breed's adult weight range, how much food to give, whether chocolate or another food is toxic, the dates for a puppy's vaccinations and the yearly cost of grooming, boarding and daycare.
See whether each owner opened, shared and rated their report card, reacted with an emoji and tapped Book again, and how they first opened it: Via SMS, Via email or Via portal. A rating of 3 stars or fewer comes with a prompt to follow up.
Switch a report card to Incident report to send the owner a calm account of what happened, with buttons to call or message you and a text worded to suit.
Once 2 of your locations have a live booking page, your organisation gets a public group page listing every location, each linking to its own booking page. Copy its link or short link from the Group page card in Locations HQ, and select Edit group page to change the group name, tagline and headings.
Under Public details on Your Booking Page, switch off Email, Phone, Address or any other detail and it stays off the page and out of what search engines read. Hiding the address also keeps it out of search results and the Petboost directory.
Each appointment shows whether the pet's next visit is booked. Next shows the date, Not rebooked or Partly rebooked shows who still needs one, and the popover lists each pet's next booking.
Quick Charge, the drag to Checked out & Paid and Mark as Complete offer a customer's unused package credit first, with Use Credit one tap away.
On a booking with more than one line, Use Credit opens with a tick beside each pet and service, so one pet can go on the pack while another pays as normal. To charge for a line that is on a credit, select Remove credit on that line: it takes the catalogue price, and the credit goes back to the pack when you save.
Print All Certificates on a course downloads one PDF for the whole class, each pet's certificate in turn, and every certificate names the pet's classmates. Choose whether to add a page per lesson after each certificate, or print a single pet's certificate from the same dialog.
Sell a customer more than one package at once from the Packages tab on their profile. Add each pack under Selected packs with how many of each, up to 10 different packs, and take it by card on file, card reader, payment link, bank transfer or cash. It is one charge and one receipt, and each pack still lands as its own purchase with its own credits. Pet owners can pick several packs in one checkout in the Pet Owner App too.
Choose Pools under Credit Allocation and give each group of services in a package its own balance, such as 10 credits for daycare or boarding and 5 for grooming. A booking for any service in a pool spends that pool only. It sits beside Shared pool and Per service, works on a package you have already saved, and a customer card shows the credits left in each pool.
When you or a client pick dates the pet is already booked on, Petboost offers to put package credits on those bookings: Magic Apply Credits for your team, Package Credits Available for clients.
Move a package credit from a later booking onto the visit you have open in one tap. Bookings your team makes take an available credit automatically.
Give a package an optional Credit expiry: Never, Must be booked before the expiry date, or Appointment must happen before the expiry date, with a window in weeks. Each purchase gets its own date, which your team can change, extend by 2 or 4 weeks, or set to Never expires from the customer's Packages tab.
Switch Courses to Graduates to see every pet that has finished a course or rolling class. Filter by date, course, breed or card on file, and copy their owners' contact details for the next level.
Add fields to a course or lesson and mark the ones owners should see. They appear on the owner's course booking.
Owners read a lesson's notes and open PDF homework or handouts on their appointment before the lesson.
Pick other resources under Also blocks in course setup, and every lesson holds them as well.
Straight after buying a package in the Pet Owner App, your clients can put its credits on bookings they already have.
The course list stays the default. Switch to Timeline for a day-by-day grid of every fixed course lesson and rolling class session. Drag a lesson to a new date to move it with everyone enrolled. Click a rolling class session to enrol a pet, reschedule it with or without telling customers, or remove it. Switch between Week, 2 Weeks and Month, or filter to Fixed Courses or Rolling Classes.
Tag a pet attribute or a custom field with Shows when, such as Feeding, Medication, Handling or Check-in, and give it a Care level of Major care or Minor care. Each moment then shows what matters to it: checking a pet in lists the red and amber notes tagged Check-in and the medication forms still to fill today, and the round, the pen sheet and the fill dialogs show the feeding and medication notes. Add Who may collect on a customer's Details tab, and your team sees those people on Confirm Check-out beside the belongings to return.
Add a protocol for each vaccine you track under Structured vaccination records in Policies & Paperwork, or start from the Australian starter set. Petboost works out each certificate's Next due date from it, reminds clients on that vaccine's own days, and lets a newer vaccine stand in for the ones it replaces, such as a C5 for a C3. A service can require specific vaccinations, so a pet without them cannot book it.
Start a team form from a template such as the Daily stay log, Medication given or a SOAP note, and add Scale, Checklist and Photos questions.
Edit the latest note on a pet or owner timeline when you wrote it, and on a pet note, change who can see it.
Build forms for your team to fill in on the appointment, for each pet and each day of a stay, up to 12 times a day or When needed. Mark a form as visible to the client and that day's answers show on their booking, and are emailed to them when the team member chooses to send it, unless the client has turned off appointment update emails. Mission Control and the run sheet show how many forms are due.
Export the customers who have a future visit but no card on file, or who have not signed an agreement.
A customer custom field with emergency in its name, such as Emergency contact, shows in the appointment's Emergency Contacts beside the vet and the backup contact.
Every card and terms request you send is recorded on the owner's timeline, and every vaccination request on the pet's, so you can see what was asked and when.
Add Phone and Email fields to your profile custom fields and your forms.
Record which pets get on and which must be kept apart. A foe set to Keep apart is blocked from the same room or team member at an overlapping time, and your team can book anyway, with a Keep apart warning on both bookings. Friends get a Put together suggestion. See and edit every pairing in one list on Attributes & Rules.
Filter Customers & Pets by Online Booking: All, Blocked or Not blocked.
Turn on Charge the standard rate on public holidays and peak dates under Extended Stay Discounts on a stay service's Pricing & Payments tab. The stay still reaches its discount tier, while each night that falls on a public holiday or a peak date range is charged at the standard rate with the holiday or peak rate on top. It works in all three stay pricing modes, and pet owners see the same total when they book.
When you publish a change to a business-wide setting, the services using the old value start ticked so they take the new one, and services with their own value start unticked so your customisations stay as they are. Change either tick before Publish, and the confirmation tells you how many services updated and how many kept their own value.
When a service is in an active package, Who can book online shows under Self-Service Booking on the service's Booking Settings, so you can limit online booking to package holders in one step.
With several resources linked to a service that needs a team member too, the Resources tab explains how one is picked. When a service is missing from a session's list, Petboost says so and opens the page that adds it.
On Bulk Edit for services and for pets, a cell Petboost would refuse has a red outline with the reason, such as A service needs a name, and a changed cell shows what it was. Drag the handle in a cell's corner down to copy it into the rows below. Cells that do not publish stay on the grid to fix.
On Service Categories, move a service to another category with Move Service, and open any service from the list to edit it.
Add your own fields to services under Service Fields on Fields & Forms, such as the room or what to bring, and fill them in on each service's Fields & Forms tab. Mark one Pet Owner & Business and the client reads it on their booking for that service, under Details for this booking.
The booking preview on a service's Duration & Timing tab starts at a time the service can be booked, on a day a team member works it, and shows it under Starts at.
Clients without a membership see a members-only service on your booking page, marked Members Only with what they need to book it.
Pick the days of the week a stay can check in and check out on. Open a Stay service, go to Duration & Timing, and choose the days under On which days? in Check-in & Check-out Windows. Pet owners booking online see only those days, and with no day picked any day works.
Filling in a team form on a booking shows the pet's name and who will see the answers.
Service Performers and Service Supporters get the calendar's Download section on desktop and phone, so they can print the run sheet or download a CSV of the day or week on screen. Their copies leave out every price and the revenue summary. Downloading all future or past appointments stays with admins.
Open Fill order from the menu on Resources or Team Members and drag them into the order Magic Match uses for a stay or a staff booking that does not name one. On Resources, anything you drag below the overflow line is kept for staff: online bookings see it as full, and your team can still book into it.
Each team member opens Me to My day: their own rounds and tasks for today, in the same buckets as Rounds & Tasks, with Start round and Add task. It is where a phone opens on a day they have work, and Rounds & Tasks filters to Just me or any team member.
Blocking time for several team members or resources at once names who is being blocked, and a block across several days reads as one block from the From Time on the first day to the To Time on the last.
Set the same-family sibling limit across many resources or team members in one bulk update.
Assign services from one list grouped by category, with search and select all, wherever you set up team members, resources and shifts.
Tap a team member or resource's date header on the calendar to change that day's session, as a one-off or as the usual weekday from then on.
Open a new site without starting from scratch. In Locations HQ, select Copy setup to another location, choose where to copy from and to, and tick Brand, Settings, Team, Resources, Categories, Services, Packages, Memberships or Customers. Choose Create missing or Update existing, check the review, then Confirm. Appointments, message threads and diary notes stay where they are.
Text across the business app sits at a larger minimum size. Coming back from a card returns you to the same spot on the calendar and Mission Control. Staff phone search matches numbers typed with 04, spaces or hyphens. Deposit settings ask for an amount above $0 before you save.
The Overview tab in Billing shows every power-up in one carousel under your quick stats, so you can see what is on and what is available without changing tabs.
Every Quick Command Centre result is scored the same way, whether it is a pet, a service, a team member or a setting. A name match ranks above a keyword and an exact match above a partial one, groups appear in order of their best result, and things you opened recently get a small lift.
Type into Find a setting on the Settings page and matches from the rest of Petboost show under Elsewhere in Petboost, such as Trips for mobile services. Every settings tab has a Guide button that opens its Petboost Academy guide.
A business with a mobile service and Trips Booster can choose Trips under Default Page on Load in All Settings, so the whole team starts the day on the run.
Under Settings, Branding, choose Smart upload to add one logo and let Petboost make the square and horizontal formats, or Upload each format to add the square and horizontal logos yourself, each as a PNG, an SVG or both.
Add Petboost to your phone's home screen, then press and hold its icon to jump straight to Mission Control, Messages or Customers & Pets. Cmd-click or Ctrl-click a button that opens a page and it opens in a new tab.
Tell Petboost you have no fixed address in your business profile, and your booking page leaves the address off.
Date custom fields, the date fields on your booking form and the availability simulator all open the same Petboost date picker.
The abandoned booking card in Mission Control names the step a client reached beside the count, such as 4/7 Pets & Services, and the first step reads Phone verified, so you know they got through the phone code before you follow up.
Open any service or product to see how many sold over a period, the revenue and who bought it, counting counter sales and booking lines, with a CSV export.
Clients booking online with you for the first time can say how they heard about you. The Marketing tab counts that booking under their answer, marked (client said), in place of the link they came from.
Your Overview shows your rebook rate, self-service booking rate, add-on revenue and the deposits kept on no-shows.
Group your transaction ledger by payment method, transaction type, pet owner or payment status, and filter it down to the payments you want.
See where each extra and product was added, from each step of the booking form, the client's appointment or report card, or by your team before, on or after the visit, on Today, This Week and Overview.
On an appointment, staff forms that repeat through the day or across a stay sit in one section per form and named time, each with a badge saying how many are left to fill or Done. Sections with forms still to fill open first.
Select Special dates on Schedules & Sessions to see every team member and resource on one month, with their normal hours and special dates side by side. Click or drag across empty days to add special dates, select a card to change it, and pick any special date from the list beside the month to jump straight to it, past ones included. One team member or resource gets the same month under Special Dates on their week.
When none of a team member's or resource's sessions take a service, the service row on the booking form says so, with Add to sessions to open their working hours, or Link service when the service is not linked to them yet. The Schedules & Sessions health check flags the same gap.
Give a session a label in Schedules & Sessions, such as Morning drop-off, and the available times on your booking form and in the Pet Owner App show the label instead of a start time.
Run a full day session and shorter sessions over the same hours on one team member or resource, each limited to its own services. Turn on Runs at the same time as another session under Advanced options, then choose the services for each. Bookings from both count towards the same Pets at a time, and the calendar session overlay lists which pets can book and any attendance cap.
When you add a session, turn on Special date only to run it on certain dates, then choose Keep the normal day and add this session, or Only this session on these dates. The preview shows which normal sessions stay and which are replaced.
